Pieces start at $35.00. Typical retail prices: 12" × 24" clear, 3/16" $35.00; 30" × 12" clear shelf, 3/8" $84.36; 24" × 36" mirror, 3/16" $181.80; 36" × 60" table top, 3/8" $384.48. Tempering adds $6 per sq ft (5 sq ft minimum). Price your exact size.

Everything is made to order. Production typically takes 7–14 days from payment. Occasionally an order takes longer — we'll keep you updated and email you the moment it's ready for pickup or delivery.

No minimum order — you can order a single piece. Each cut-to-size glass piece is priced at a minimum of $35.

Free pickup at 921 Conklin St Unit I, Farmingdale, NY 11735 once we email you that the order is ready. Delivery or UPS shipping is $29 for any door or glass piece up to 48" long; larger pieces (doors and cut glass alike) are priced by size (one fee per order, set by the largest piece). The exact fee is shown next to the price in the configurator and in the cart before you pay. Depending on the order we deliver locally or ship by UPS, and we email you either a delivery window or a tracking number.

The finished door size (outside of the aluminum frame). We build exactly what you enter. See the measuring guide for overlay rules, or email us your opening size and we'll confirm.

Aluminum-frame doors use 3/16" glass in clear, gray, bronze (brown), frosted, reeded or mirror, with black, gold, silver or white frames. Cut-to-size glass comes in clear, low iron (ultra-clear), frosted, bronze, gray, reeded and mirror; clear is available in 3/16", 5/16" and 3/8", low iron and frosted in 3/8", tinted and reeded in 3/16", mirror in 3/16" and tempered mirror in 1/4". Glass 5/16" and thicker can be used as shelves.

Tempered (safety) glass is required by building codes in some locations and recommended for large doors, low cabinets, shelves and high-traffic areas. On aluminum-frame doors tempering is a per-door option. On cut-to-size glass it costs $6 per square foot, rounded up to whole square feet with a 5 square-foot minimum ($30). Mirror cannot be tempered — choose Tempered Mirror instead. Tempered glass cannot be cut after it's made, so confirm sizes carefully.

Handles are mounted at the position you choose (top, center or bottom) if you add one. Hinge holes are drilled on the side you select, and soft-close concealed hinges ship with the door when you add them to your order.

Because every piece is cut and built to your size, orders can't be returned once production starts. If anything arrives with a defect or doesn't match your order, we remake it at no charge. Full details in our policies.

Cabinet shops, millwork shops, contractors, designers and builders can apply for a trade account. Once approved, trade pricing applies automatically to every quote and order while you're signed in.

Checkout is handled securely by Stripe — we never see your card number. The charge appears on your card statement with the suffix “GLASS”.

Our manufacturing tolerance is ±1/16". Enter decimals or use the fraction shown next to each field to double-check.

Often, yes. Very large pieces show "Custom quote required" in the configurator — email customglassdirect@gmail.com with the size and we'll quote it.

Aluminum-frame glass doors have a slim 3/4-inch profile that shows more glass, never warp, swell or crack like wood, and come pre-finished in black, gold, silver or white, so they suit modern, Scandinavian and transitional kitchens. Wood-frame glass doors match painted or stained cabinetry exactly but need finishing, move with humidity and have wider stiles. Aluminum doors are also faster: ours are made to size in 7–14 days with hinge holes drilled and handles mounted.

Reeded (fluted) glass has vertical ribs that blur what is behind the door while letting light through; the texture is decorative and hides clutter but not completely. Frosted (acid-etched) glass is uniformly translucent, hides contents more fully and shows fingerprints less than clear glass. Both are available on aluminum-frame doors and as cut-to-size panels; reeded is the current designer favorite for display cabinets, frosted is the practical choice for pantries and bathrooms.

Table tops and protectors: 3/8" (10 mm) clear glass with polished edges; tempering is recommended for dining tables and anything that may be struck. Shelves: 5/16" for spans up to about 30" with light loads, 3/8" for wider spans or heavier items, always supported at all four corners. Cabinet door inserts and mirrors: 3/16". Aluminum-frame doors use 3/16" glass.

Aluminum-frame doors: up to 48" wide and 96" tall, maximum 24 square feet per door. Cut-to-size glass: up to 60" × 108" in either orientation (short side up to 60", long side up to 108"), maximum 45 square feet per piece. Larger pieces are quoted by email.
